Rose Villa is in the midst of significant growth and change – specifically a $30mm+ building project that is scheduled to begin construction in early 2014. The right candidate will be energized a fast paced, change embracing environment and by the gleaning of efficiencies through streamlining processes, leveraging technology, etc.
Duties:The Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations and other day-to-day accounting tasks. In addition, the Accountant will be involved in special projects under the direction of the Controller and/or CFO. We are looking for someone who wants to take their bookkeeping and accounting skills to the next level with professional mentoring from our Controller and CFO.
Qualifications:AA degree or equivalent experience, solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles (theoretical understanding of debits and credits), working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly EXCEL) and a minimum 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping is required.
